I don't mind Seymour in the game. He's the only older man whose looks are somewhat likable unlike those ugly bastards in FMC games. What I don't like is Seymour's character/personality.

For what little it's worth, if you have Lena who is fully onboard with Seymour at this point but burns will point to stop his advances rather than escalate, she gains a wits point. This is even if she's single, so it's not matter of cheating. So it's seem that regardless how romantic the scene might be, not getting too involved with Seymour is deemed a smart thing to do.
Finally, a bleeding heart advocate for paternalism and ancestor veneration in our degenerate midst.

I re-did some of my playthroughs to incorporate Seymour with some interesting results...
At first I was reluctant to go Seymour's route on many of my playthroughs cause it just didn't gel well. Especially the ones I have Lena doing full Stalkfap as he would force Lena to delete her account. So I just used to collect the 10 moneys before breaking off her partnership with him. But with the recent update and new developments (like Seymour inviting Emma to open discourse), I've decided I can milk him for a lot more without really jeopardizing Lena's relationships 
What do you think I'll get out of him next? I'm thinking a car...

Lena also has some interesting thoughts about the throuple during the trip.
All in all I'd say the Seymour route is still worth playing even if you don't fully go along with him (which I believe is the superior route) to spice things up a bit and add a few story beats. There is a version of this for my LenaxHolly run but the talk they had on the beach was not referenced but it seems that they are still not official...Disappointing...Hopefully after this trip they finally have the talk.

I imagine it'll become an option after Seymour trip is done -- since Lena can be potentially free of relationship with Ian which was holding her back previously, and also done with her Seymour infatuation. Probably true. Before the update, I would have thought it more likely that the throuple would populate a stable.
Probably. Given potentially a decision is pending whether he's going to be hired permanently, and the whole book competition thing, there's multiple points of leverage Seymour could use here.
If Ian and Lena are dating, I think it's pretty much a given what Seymour would demand from Ian. But if Lena is already full on Seymour's path or Ian and her are not dating, I'm curious what Seymour will demand from Ian. Perhaps something related to Emma or Perry, because of the election.

Honestly, with Seymor getting so much love, I think it's only fair if you also get a chance to seriously screw him over, like getting him arrested or ruined or something. Team Up with Perry's Dad, Emma and everyone else.
It's bad enough that rich assholes get away with everything in real life, I don't need that in videogames as well.
On second thought, while I would really like such a storyline, the game probably already has more than enough open paths. Maybe better to focus on the porn.
